Braised Collards with Tomatoes

Onion- 1 small
Olive oil- 3 atble spoon
Collard – 2 cups with stems cut
Tomatoes- 1 finely copped
Garlic – 1 clove
Pepper- half tablespoon
Peas- 1 cup
Salt- as required
Water – 2 cups
- Take a pan and heat some oil in it.
- Add finely chopped onion and cook till it gets soften
- Add chopped tomatoes or even you can smash tomato.
- Add some water and close the lid of the pan. Cook for sometime
- Put some peas into it
- Add pepper, required salt and water
- Cook everything for a minute
Now your awesome braised collards with tomato are ready. You can serve this with rice and enjoy.
