Coconut rice which can be prepared in different ways and it gives different taste based on its ingredients.
- Rice – 2 cup
- Coconut – ½
- Mustard seeds, black gram – 1 teaspoon
- Chilli – 4
- Split Bengal gram – 1 teaspoon
- Curry leaves – as required
- Oil & Salt – as required
Procedure to prepare coconut rice :
- Put pan on stove, heat the oil and add mustard seeds, black gram, curry leaves and fry.
- Then add chilli, split Bengal gram and roast it till getting the reddish colour.
- Then add this with hot boiled rice and mix it well.
- Then add the scraped coconut again mix. Now it is ready to serve.
